Dress for Success Worldwide Announces 2025 Peer Leadership Award Nominees

NEW YORK, NY – Dress for Success is proud to announce the nominees for the 2025 Peer Leadership Award, which recognizes outstanding leaders who inspire, mentor, and elevate others across the Dress for Success global member network of 131 affiliates.

This award honors network members who demonstrate exceptional leadership within our community by sharing expertise, mentoring peers, and fostering collaboration. The nominees are celebrated for leading with generosity, humility, and a commitment to collective success. Through their actions and presence, they uplift others and inspire values-aligned leadership across the network.

The top three nominees will be recognized at the Dress for Success Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, October 28, during the organization’s global convening in Toronto, Canada.

2025 Peer Leadership Award Nominees:

Lori James, DFS Calgary: Known for her creativity, warmth, and collaborative spirit, Lori turns ideas into action and ensures everyone feels supported. Her optimism and clarity lift both her affiliate and peers across the network.

Judy Downs, DFS Des Moines: Judy exemplifies inclusive, values-driven leadership. She fosters a supportive community where affiliates share ideas, celebrate progress, and navigate challenges together.

Rhonda L. Treadwell, DFS Memphis: Rhonda’s leadership radiates grace, focus, and determination. Her dedication and resilience inspire others across the network to lead with purpose and heart.

Sonia Casanova, DFS NSW & ACT: Sonia leads with vision, strategy, and heart. She brings people together to problem-solve, share knowledge, and co-create lasting impact, modeling courage and innovation.

Melissa Tenzer, DFS Central New Jersey: Melissa is a connector and encourager whose positivity is contagious. She embodies the spirit of collective success, emphasizing community and compassion as the foundation of strong leadership.

MR. MABRA HOLEYFIELD

HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE CLASS OF 1961
Mabra Holeyfield is a proud 1961 graduate of Hamilton High School. His higher education experience began as he studied and graduated in 1965 from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. He then completed course requirements for the Master’s degree in 1966 with a focus in Guidance and Counseling.
Mabra’s kind, sociable, and engaging attributes, along with his keen acumen for business, served as key catalysts for his next levels of achievement as a “serial entrepreneur”, in his words. To that end, he successfully achieved CHA [Certified Hotel Administrator] status in 1991, which is the most prestigious hospitality certification available to a hotel executive.
